The Vila Museum was reopened to the public, with more interactive
resources for visitors, who will start a journey that will take them
through the history of the city and the municipality of Cascais since
the Neolithic period for the present.
Using inviting multimedia solutions, visitors will be able to browse
the history of Cascais as they wish, photographing themselves in 1900,
listening to a radio from the 1930s, listening to some of the greatest
successes of national music related to Cascais or using interactive panels to discover the reality of the
municipality during World War II.
Visitors have the possibility to watch many films with history,
provided by the National Archives of Moving Images and the RTP
Archive.
The experience finishes with an immersive experience to discover the
efforts that Cascais has made to become a smart city.
